The Challenge
The first requirement was to for a simple, professional web presence. Engreen needed a website that would provided clients with all necessary company information and contact details, and in addition corresponding email addresses for all employees.
As a distributed business working across different sites, maintaining fast, secure communication was critical to the performance of the company. An efficient method for sharing documents
would increase productivity and ensure that the correct version of a
document was always accessible to all eligible parties. Engreen also
wanted clients to have access to specific information on a secure
online system.
The Solution
ZUUK's Standard Web Presence package provided
Engreen with a web domain name, corresponding email addresses and a
static web site to suit the company's needs. The website was designed
through a collaborative process with the client, ensuring the style and functionality met all requirements.
The remaining issues of secure and efficient online document sharing were resolved with the set-up of the Instant Intranet. Within 48 hours Engreen were able to use the document repository to keep accurate and up-to-date versions of any projects across multiple sites. It also provided an ideal forum for sharing news and events etc in one online location, accessible by anyone with the correct security privileges.
In addition, a secure Extranet was set up to allow client's with the necessary authorisation to access data and information posted by Engreen for this purpose.
The Result
Once the Standard Web Presence, Intranet and Extranet
services had been completed, Engreen had a full, professional web
presence, and a secure, efficient document sharing solution. This gave
them a stronger position from which to continue to build the business and to systemise their working methods.
